Story, I believe, has the power to comfort, inspire, teach, heal and move people more than any other thing.
It took only one story, that of a five-year-old girl living in the red-light district in India, to completely change my life, and it only takes one story to change yours, or anyone else’s for that matter.
Life-changing stories burst into our lives unannounced, transforming the way we see the world and leaving us in the wake of a renewed mind. David showed us we can take down giants, Martin Lither King Jr showed us equality is possible in a prejudiced world and Mother Theresa showed us all things are possible with great love. And I, too, want to show the world something too it seems to have forgotten, and that is the value and the intrinsic worth of a woman. But more than that, I think that is what God wants to show the world at large today.
Women for too long have been viewed as sex objects and baby-makers worldwide, when God created them to be world-changers, speakers, writers, activists, mothers, artists and doctors. I believe there is no limit to what a woman can become when she puts her faith in God and that it’s time that women are looked at the for the merit of their character and not the size of their body parts.
There’s a whisper of revolution, where girls and women of this world are rising up to step into their destiny, to be seen as equals in the world’s economy and to understand their own intrinsic worth. I’ve seen hope in the mud-huts of Africa, optimism in the brothels of India and promise in the bars of the Philippines.
It’s the kind of stuff that makes my heart beat faster and leads me to proclaim God’s love from the rooftops. I know, deep down in my bones, that I am a part of the revolution of hope and as I lift my voice it will join the chorus of thousands of others world-wide.
As Kingdom Journeys was wrapping up I felt God urging me to write a book telling the stories of the women worldwide who are changing the globe around them one act of love at a time. It was an exciting thought but I didn’t know where to start.
That’s where this blog comes in. Each story I write here is meant to inspire, captivate and challenge. I want people to read something on here and go out and do something about it. I want a community to start and I want people to start living out the passions put in their heart.
I’m a firm believer that we all have a call on our lives and that many of us have heard the whisper. I just pray these stories can make that whisper a little louder.

Meghan! I am SO excited for you! What a powerful vision the Lord has given you! I love your passion and your hunger to make their stories heard! You’re beautiful!
