Growing up in the church, I am sure many of us heard a lot about “Biblical” gender roles. You know, men should go out and provide for the family while women stay home and take care of the children… but where did this come from?
On this episode of Faith and Feminism, I interview Marg Mowczko about Biblical Gender Roles and whether or not they’re found in the Bible.
Check out Marg’s website and the wealth of knowledge she shares there!
Hey, Meghan,
I assume that you descend from the Mac-and-Ginny wing of the family (I found you while looking for another Tschanz and the topic caught my attention). When I get a chance later, I’ll watch your video (sorry, gotta go mow the lawn in a minute and can’t now). I’ll also send you a bit of topic-relevant work that I’ve published with Niwako Yamawaki. And I may get around to sending you a few pictures of your grandpa that you might not have (if I can find them).
Todd Tschanz, from the Otto-and-Marge wing of the family (ask Ginny or your Dad. They’ll know what I’m talking about).
